Located in Uncertain, Texas (population 150), Caddo lake is a sprawling maze of swamps, sloughs and bayous. The wetlands and backwaters cover over 26,000 acres. Home to the largest bald cypress forest in the world, Caddo Lake contains 71 species of fish and over 200 species of birds. Visitors will enjoy a variety of vegetation and animal life such as American lotus and lily pads, waterfowl, alligators, turtles, frogs, snakes, raccoons, minks, nutria, beavers, squirrels, and armadillos.
